Configuring your ADC T2000 is important so your HVAC system will work as expected. It is easy to configure your smart thermostat through the Alarm.com app. Before you begin, be sure your ADC T2000 is installed and paired to your system. If not, refer back to our other post linked above.

Step 1: Login to Alarm.com App

Open the Alarm.com app and select “configure” in the thermostat box, name the device then, select “next.”

Step 2: Remove ADC T2000 Smart Thermostat from Mount

Follow the instructions on the Alarm.com app by removing your ADC T2000 from the wall mount and review the wiring. Once finished, select “next.”

Step 3: Select your HVAC System

Select which system you have and tap “ok.” The next screen will display you system’s wiring diagram. Check each terminal that is holding a wire then, select “next.”

Step 4: Reconnect ADC T2000 Smart Thermostat Cover

After you selected the terminals in the previous step, Reconnect your ADC T2000 Smart Thermostat cover to the mount and press firmly and tap “next.” The Alarm.com app will determine the new configuration then select “okay.”

Step 5: Send Configuration to Smart Thermostat

After the system determines new configuration, tap “next” to send the configuration to the thermostat. This typically takes less than a minute.

Step 6: Save

Once the configuration is sent to the thermostat, you will recieve a success message. Tap “finish.” Your ADC T2000 is now ready to use.
