Once the ADC T2000 Smart Thermostat installation is complete and the system is powered on, the next step is to pair your new system to your alarm.com account. Follow this simple tutorial to connect your home’s thermostat to your alarm.com system.

Step 1: Open Alarm.com App

Now that your ADC T2000 Smart Thermostat is installed in your home, it’s time to pair the new system to your Alarm.com app. Start by opening the app and selecting the menu option. This brings you to your account profile. Select add device then, thermostat. You will see all the devices you can add to your system. Select “Smart Thermostat” then tap “next.”

Step 2: Preparing ADC T2000 for Add Mode

After following step one, your system should be in “add mode.” To finish pairing your smart thermostat to your alarm.com app, follow the instructions on the app to trigger your thermostat and pair it to your system. When the radio icon becomes solid, pairing is complete.

Step 3: Naming your ADC T2000 System

One pairing is complete, you will be prompted to name the device. We advise to name it based on the location or the HVAC system it controls. Tap next. You can add more by tapping “add other devices” or to finish click “done.”
