Once you’ve installed your devices to your liking, you have access to pairing instructions to easily add the device to your smart home. This provides an intuitive approach to activating your equipment on your own.

Step 1: Opening the Pairing Wizard

Login to your Alarm.com app and select the menu icon. At the very bottom of the menu, select “add device.”

Step 2: Select Device

Select which device you would like to add to your Alarm.com Smart Home system. In this example, we are adding a video camera.

Step 3: Select Specific Device

This example is using an ADC-V523. Select your specific device and you will be prompted instructions based on the certain device you are adding.

Step 4: Controlling the device

Once complete, you will be able to control the device from you alarm.com app.
