Once your Smart Lock is installed and paired with the Alarm.com Residential App, you can create unique codes to each user to unlock the door. Follow the video or instructions to know what time someone is entering or exiting your property. It is great for monitoring dog-walkers or giving quick access to a visitor.

Step 1: Open Alarm.com Residential App and Login

Open the Alarm.com Residential App and tap the menu at the top right corner after logging in.

Step 2: Users

Scroll down on the menu and select “users.”

Step 3: Add Users

Select the “plus” sign on the top right screen. Add the user’s first and last name.

Step 4: Create Code

Generate a unique code for the user. Allow which doors and panels they have access to then tap “save.”

Step 5: Restrict Certain Times

Restrict when users have access to your property on the next screen. Select “time” and set a range of time when the user can unlock the door or panel.
