Find out how to add your Alarm.com Video Doorbell Camera to your account after installation.

1. Ensure Wifi Speed meets requirements

   Use Google’s Wifi speed test to ensure your internet upload speed is 2.5 mbps.

2. Press the button on your Alarm.com Video Doorbell

   Press the button your camera to ensure the doorbell chime is functioning.

3. Open Alarm.com App

   Open your Alarm.com app and select the menu icon in the top left corner then, select “Doorbell Camera.

4. Select Add Doorbell Camera

   

5. Select the device your want to add

   

6. Enter Access Point Mode

   If the LED light is not flashing white, press and hold the button on your doorbell camera until you see the LED light flashing. Then, select “next” at the top right.

7. Name your device

   

8. Connect your phone to the doorbell camera’s temporary wifi

   Connect to your doorbell’s wifi and be sure you allow “Local Network” to be to turned on in your settings app under Alarm.com.

9. Select your home’s wifi network

   Enter back into the Alarm.com App and select your home’s wifi network. Enter your wifi password and select “next.”

10. Wait for Doorbell Installation to complete

    Wait for the app to sync with your doorbell camera. This may take a few minutes. When finished select “next.”

11. View your live feed

    Select the doorbell icon to see live video of your front door.
